There are no complicated routines to remember and absolutely no expectation to get everything right. Simply follow Lili, enjoy moving at a different pace and notice how your body responds.

Why try Tai Chi?

Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi combines gentle physical movement with concentration and controlled breathing.

  • Improve balance and stability — slow weight transfers encourage greater awareness of how you move and support yourself.
  • Develop coordination — movements gradually connect the upper and lower body while challenging the brain and body to work together.
  • Encourage better posture and body awareness — helping you become more conscious of alignment and how you hold yourself.
  • Build gentle leg and core strength — without high-impact exercise.
  • Support mobility and flexibility — through controlled, comfortable movement of the joints.
  • Reduce tension and encourage relaxation — inviting you to focus on the present moment.
  • Support confidence in movement — valuable through midlife and beyond.

Tai Chi or Qigong — what is the difference?

Both practices combine mindful movement, breath and awareness, but they have a slightly different feel.

Qigong tends to use individual movements or shorter repeated patterns, often focusing on breath, relaxation and flowing movement.

Tai Chi links movements together into more structured, continuous sequences, with greater emphasis on balance, coordination, weight transfer and controlled movement.

  • Duration: 45 minutes.
  • Suitable for: beginners and anyone new to Tai Chi.
  • Experience needed: no previous Tai Chi experience is needed.
  • Tickets: limited to 30 places.
